Posted on 29 May 2016

Take a look at the brand new trailer for Len and Company. Opening in theaters and VOD June 10, 2016.

It's been a while...
Posted on 09 Feb 2016

And I apologize for not updating the site in a while. So let's recap what's been going on in recent months. We've see a few new credits pop up on IMDb lately, and here's what I've been able to find out about them:

  • Blood and Water
A Canadian police crime/drama show that is set in Canada and revolves around crime cases with a Chinese connection. Peter plays one of the main characters (a detective). The show premiered on OMNI television in November 2015. I've seen the first few episodes, it's worth watching if you like crime shows. All episodes are subtiled both in English and Chinese. In November last year, Peter was on the City TV Breakfast Show to promote the show, together with two of his co-stars, which you can see on YouTube.

  • The Art of More
An American TV show that premiered in November 2015 on Crackle TV. The first season has 10 episodes, five or which Peter guest-stars in as father of Roxanna Whitman. The main premise of the show revolves around high-profile auction houses in NY and how they acquire the art and items they are aucioning off. I found the first two episodes very bland and uninspiring, and have not ventured further. Peter's role is fairly small. To me, it seems puzzling that it's been renewed for a second season, when all around high quality shows like Bomb Girls get cancelled...

  • Houdini and Doyle
An American/British/Canadian co-production about the friendship between Harry Houdini and Arthur Conan Doyle. Peter will play Thomas Edison in episode 9. The show is set to debut on FOX in the US, and then later to be shown by ITV in the UK and Global in Canada. It saw spring 2016 mentioned in an article, but an exact air date is not yet known.

  • No Easy Days
Yeah, that one. What's going on with this show? They were running a crowdfunding campaign to get it produced, or post-produced, or something like that. It sounds like it was already shot, but it doesn't look as if any TV network has picked it up yet. Peter plays Paul Reynolds, the US President, whose daughter gets kidnapped. It'll probably be an action/thriller type show along the lines of 24.

  • Len and Company
This is a feature film that premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival in June last year. It's also been shown at TIFF in November 2015. Reviews were rather mediocre, and that's putting it politely. An official release date is currently unknown. It sounds like there's a good chance it might go straight to DVD.

  • Voracious
Last but not least, this one seems a bit of a mystery. It popped up in Peter's IMDb credits, but it looks like a feature film shot a long time ago. It's doubtful it's really something new, might just be a glitch that it's showing up as new credit.
Happy Birthday, Peter!

Wishing Peter all the best on his 49th birthday. Many happy returns!

New TV credit: 'Blood and Water'
Posted on 02 Mar 2015

Peter Outerbridge has been cast in the role of Detective Al Gorski in a new TV show called "Blood and Water". It's set to air in 2015, but details are a bit sketchy as to where and when exactly. It looks as if the 8 episodes à 30 minutes are still in post-production.

The one thing Josephine “Jo” Bradley (27) knows for certain is that she’s a good cop. She’s ambitious and tough (or thinks she is) and has just been assigned her first case as lead Detective following her recent promotion to Vancouver’s Homicide Division. But Jo doesn’t truly feel Chinese. Born in China, abandoned by a family she never knew, Jo was adopted as a toddler from an orphanage in Fujian and relocated to Vancouver.

When Charles Xie goes missing and his body is found ritualistically buried, Jo is assigned the case. Though the Xies appear to be a simple, working class Chinese family, Jo will be forced to tear the family apart and reveal a long held secret in order to solve the murder of their troubled middle son. The cat-and-mouse game she plays to fracture the Xie family will also leave Jo broken and searching for her own identity and the meaning of family.
