The what, now?

The what, now?

Let me give you a few, quick words on the backstory of this website. If you've found your way here, I don't think I need to explain who Peter Outerbridge is, right? Canadian guy, blond, great acting skills, handsome... Look on the right, that's his face, and he's also— Okay, enough with the shenanigans.

Why this Peter Outerbridge fansite? There's more than one answer to that question, but the predominant one is probably because I felt there was a demand for it. I had stumbled across him on the fantastic show ReGenesis in late 2011, and when I wanted to look into what else he had done, look up information, photos, screencaps, videos, or interviews on those projects, and generally have somewhere to go where all of that was in one place, I was disappointed to realize such a website didn't exist.

Born out of that frustration, my first endeavour was to put up a Peter Outerbridge-themed Tumblr page where I started sharing some of the screencaps and fanart I'd made and reviews I'd written. This was mainly because at the time, I wasn't ready to take on programming a whole website from scratch, so the Tumblr felt like a good compromise. About half a year later, I realized Tumblr just didn't seem like the right platform for what I wanted to do anymore, what with my Peter Outerbridge collection ever expanding. And since I love a good challenge and had wanted to find a worthwhile project to try CSS-heavy programming on, I finally decided a Peter Outerbridge fansite would be the way to go.

One registered domain name, plenty of creative CSS-related problem solving, and three months later, the website was launched on Sep 22, 2012.

So here we are, with a full-fledged fansite—the kind that, as a fan, had I not put it up myself, I would have wanted to find. I hope there's others out there who feel the same way, and who will come here and be happy to have all this material and information to dig into.

And if you're curious as to who "I" am, some of that information is just a mouse click away.
